Intro to Musical Improv

Back by Popular Demand! With Jessica MacMaster & Liz Baugh

Back by popular demand, Intro to Musical Improv is returning to JMac Made Improv! Join Jessica MacMaster and Liz Baugh for a fun, supportive introduction

to making up songs and musical scenes on the spot.

Through games, exercises, and scene work, we'll explore the fundamentals of musical improvisation, including creating melodies, finding rhythms, improvising lyrics, and building songs together. We'll focus on listening, collaboration, storytelling, and learning to trust your instincts rather than worrying about getting things right.

Whether you're an experienced improviser looking to try something new or you're simply curious about musical improv, this class is a chance to get creative, challenge yourself, and have a lot of laughs along the way.
